This Man Ran Over A Mother Duck And Her 11 Ducklings With His Riding LAWNMOWER.

A Florida landscaper was charged with animal cruelty after he ran over a mother duck and her 11 ducklings with his riding lawnmower.

According to police, Jason Falbo, 24, of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, mowed down the ducks on May 2 at the home of a family caring for the birds in Wellington. The Jentzsch family say that the ducklings were a few days old.

Boyd Jentzsch says that he and his family, including his 7-year-old son, watched from inside their house, screaming as the landscaper ran over the ducks. (

Jentzsch told The Sun Sentinel:

We were horrified. I couldn’t believe it was happening. It was totally disgusting.

The police report states that Falbo drove his riding lawnmower directly toward the ducks, which were lounging on the grass under a tree in Jentzsch’s yard, and ran over them.

When questioned why he drove over the birds, Falbo replied:

They were in my path, so I kept moving.

According to the police, nine ducklings died, while the mother and the other two ducklings survived.

Falbo is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail on a $27,000 bail on animal cruelty charges.
