Barcelona | A 51 year old schizophrenic man who recently escaped from a high security mental institution, is believed to be responsible for the destruction of five windmills dating as far as the 12th century, that were considered part of the World Heritage by UNESCO.
The suspect, Pancho Minerva, is affected by a rare personality disorder that has him under the illusion that he is Hidalgo Don Quichotte, the famous character from the work “El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha” of the 17 th century spanish author, Miguel de Cervantes.
“The information that we received from witnesses seem to indicate that he is still roaming around on a donkey with an unidentified chubby man” explains the chief of the Barcelona police, Juan Hernandez. “He has been attacking mills randomly in the region for now, so its hard to determine his next target. All available police forces have been mobilized to stop this hecatomb and to guarantee the safety of the population.”
