If You Live In A House Share, You Are Definitely Living With One Of These 15 People
It all starts at University/College. From second year onwards your living space is going to be shared with fellow humans who probably have very different habits than yourself. After a while certain stereotypes start forming.
I’m here to give you the definitive guide of people you are likely to live with at some point in your life. Who knows, you may be living with a bunch of these people right now? And most probably, you are one of the very people I’m about to describe.
1. The Food Stealer
We’ll start with a given. Everyone has lived with a Food Stealer, from taking a tin of beans to the more major acts or entire meal thefts, The Food Stealer will usually gradually pick away at things in the fridge, trying to disguise their devious ways. If they’re feeling extra risky, they’ll just start picking at your meal…with their fingers…while you eat it.
2. The Needy One
This housemate struggles in their own company. They also often forget the importance of personal space. Whether they are snuggling up to you on the sofa or jumping in to your bed at 8am in the morning, The Needy One thrives off other peoples company and while it’s usually not an issue, every now and then it can fuck you right off.
3. The One You Never See
Otherwise known as The Elusive One, this housemate spends almost none of their time in the house. It’s most probably because they don’t like you very much but can also be a result of an overly proactive life that also makes you feel shit. These housemates will often go home or stay elsewhere almost every weekend
4. The OCD One
The super clean one who just takes it that little bit too far. If they are cleaning on your behalf then its fantastic but as rotas start appearing with reminder post-it notes under your door and angry text messages bombarding your inbox, it can all just get a bit too much
