Dog Who Had Mouth Tied Together Has Had An Amazing Recovery

The dog that was found with her mouth taped tightly shut is making a great recovery.

The 18 month old staffy cross, named Caitlin, was found with her mouth taped closed with thick electrical tape.

Her finder took her to the Charleston Animal Society, who operated on her immediately, declaring that she was in a critical condition. He tongue was massively swollen, and oozing puss. Poor thing.

Animal society officials have announced that Caitlyn is on the mend and is making an amazing recovery. The cuts and incisions from the tape are now healing really well.

She is no longer in a critical condition, which is great news. Hopefully she will be taken on by a responsible owner, and not somebody like her previous owner, William Leonard Dodson, 41, who has been charged with animal cruelty after buying the dog for $20 in a pub, and taping her mouth shut when she wouldn’t stop barking.
