Growing up, there wasn’t a topic more obsessed over than sex. If you weren’t having it, you weren’t cool, end of.

Some of my friends would brag about sleeping with a virgin, as if it was an ego boost to imagine being a girl’s first and taking her precious virginity, bookmarking yourself in the annexes of her mind forever. Others would exhaust every possibility to reach the elusive bedroom, but when push came to shove, just couldn’t quite get over the line.

And some stay a virgin for a little longer. Content in their innocent, untainted bubble and willing to fight of any advances. Though I can’t imagine too many people are having a pop, these guys are expert in the art at protecting their virginity. Bravo.

Lesson learnt: never try and have sex with one of this lot! It won’t end well. But in all seriousness just do things at your own pace, if you’re happy then that’s all that counts. At the end of the day I’d rather be a virgin than one of these awkwardly sexual Facebook users.
