Why Am I Not In This Heavenly Volcanic Pool Like Right Bloody Now?
The sun is out, Britain is experiencing “record breaking” temperatures and we all wish we were on holiday to fully enjoy it. In a list of places I’d like to be right now, my office with a broken air conditioner with no beach within at least 15 miles is right at the bottom. Which is at the top, you ask? Well – you probably didn’t ask but I’m going to tell you anyway.
This absolutely dream-like volcanic pool on the Somoan Island of Upolu, that’s where. The To Sua ocean trench (which means big hole) is a natural pool as well. If there’s anything I like more than complete beauty, it’s completely natural beauty.
While the rest of us can only dream the day away, why not rub salt in our wounds and take a look at the lucky few that actually made it to this little slice of heaven?
It’s really quite incredible looking
As much as I’m happy for those who had this beautiful experience, I can’t help but be completely bloody jealous
Oh, just stop…
Even TripAdvisor have given it a ‘certificate of excellence’
It’s said to be as relaxing and peaceful as it is beautiful
Throwing my own hands up in despair that I’m not there
Thanks Jessie, I’m really pleased to hear the water is optimum temperature too – just what my jealousy needed
All envy and jokes aside. This place looks absolutely incredible and I’d never heard of it before – there are so many beautiful places in the world and it’s good to take a step back and fully appreciate them now and again. If you can’t make it to this waterhole of dreams, maybe try the largest swimming pool in the world.
