This Comedian Makes Such A Great Point About Racism, Presenter Applauds Him On Camera
Comedian Aziz Ansari deserves a pat on the back for what he just said about his recent beef with billionaire media supremo Rupert Murdoch. Most people who cross Murdoch come off second best, not this time.
Let’s take a step back: Rupert Murdoch (owner of just about everything on earth) tweeted the following message after the Charlie Hebdo massacre:
I’m trying to ignore the way he spelled “Muslims.” I’m failing miserably. There is just no excuse for that.
Aziz Ansari, who grew up in a Muslim household, was understandably upset with the controversial Tweet. And he sent back a string of tweets showing how flawed that logic is.
When he talked about it on an episode of “The Late Show With David Letterman,” Dave had to give credit where it was due, and he gave Aziz a hand. Here are some of the best #RupertsFault tweets from the man himself:
And my personal favourite…
Good stuff Aziz, and Dave Letterman agrees…
Not that people needed another reason to dislike Rupert Murdoch, but here it is anyway. The man is a tool. Anyone who stands up to his is a winner in my eyes. Aziz, well done.
