Watch The Absolutely Grim Moment A Maggot Wriggles Out Of A Man’s Skin
An entomologist has taken his research to the extreme – by allowing a maggot to grow inside his skin and wriggle out! Some people really take their work to far huh?!
Piotr Naskrecki of Boston, was bitten by mosquitoes during a trip to Belize last year. Upon his return he found that his bites weren’t healing.
The Harvard University entomologist discovered he had bot fly larvae under his skin. He got rid one tiny maggot with a suction device – but left a couple in for his own research. If you can stomach it, watch the video below.
Mr Naskrecki explained that it wasn’t a painful experience because the fly produces pain-killers in a bid to make their presence as unnoticeable to the host as possible.
